Who runs it
I'm John Brewton. I train leadership teams to use AI on their own work.
I am an operator. I spent 11 years inside my family's B2B industrial distribution company, from sourcing specialist to CEO. As an operations analyst, I automated work that saved the team more than 200 hours a week. As CEO, I grew revenue to $75M and led the company through its sale in 2021.
Now I run AI programs for teams. I ran a 13 week AI program for a national trade association with about 32 staff. I am running a 90 day AI program for a civil engineering, survey, and construction firm. I ran a one day workshop built for up to 60 founders of $10M to $250M companies, and they asked me back.
I build these AI systems myself, for my own business and for my clients. I publish seven articles a week for more than 75,000 operators and business leaders on LinkedIn and Substack.
I studied economics at Harvard and the University of Chicago. I studied AI strategy and AI product building at MIT.
